18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions of the Gazette Notification). Note: In addition to the age relaxation allowed under the General Conditions for employees of the Technical Education Department, they are eligible for an upper age limit relaxation of up to 10 years of their length of service. In any case, the upper age limit shall not exceed 50 years as on 01.01.2022.

Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the concerned branch from a University or Government recognized institution after 3 years of regular study or equivalent qualification. (GO(P)No.503/2012/H.Edn. Dated 12.10.2012) Note: (a) KS & SSR Part-II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable. (b) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared by the Government as equivalent to the prescribed qualification through executive orders or standing orders, and qualifications considered equivalent by the Commission as per special rules, shall be accepted as basic qualification. Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.

1. (a) The vacancies shown above are currently in existence. The Ranked List prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new Ranked List is published for the same post after one year, the current list will cease to be in force from that date. Appointments will be made from the existing list for the vacancies reported during the currency of the list. (b) 3% of vacancies are reserved for differently abled candidates (Locomotor disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision) as per GO(P) No.1/2013/SJD dated 03.01.2013 and GO(P) No.20/2018/SJD dated 26.11.2018. Workshop Instructor/Demonstrator - Locomotor disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision. Instructor Grade II/Draftsman Grade II - Low Vision only. Blind candidates are not eligible for this post. 2. Candidates must register as per 'One Time Registration' on the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in. Candidates who have already registered can apply through their profile. Apply Now button in the Notification Link should be clicked for each post. Photographs uploaded must be taken after 31/12/2012. For candidates registering from 01.01.2022, the photograph must be taken within 6 months. Name and date of taking the photograph must be clearly printed at the bottom of the photograph. The uploaded photo will be valid for 10 years. No application fee. Candidates must ensure the correctness of their profile. User ID must be quoted in all communications. Applications submitted are provisional. No changes can be made after the last date. Candidates should keep a soft copy/print out of the application for future use. Print out of the application must be produced if required by the Commission. If any application is found to be against the notification conditions, it will be rejected unconditionally. Original documents to prove qualification, experience, caste, age, etc., must be produced when required by the Commission. Corrections made by candidates in their profile or by the PSC office after the last date will not be reflected in the application. 3. If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who submit confirmation can download the admission ticket in the last 15 days before the exam date. Applications of candidates who do not submit confirmation within the stipulated time will be rejected unconditionally. 4. Candidates with Aadhar card must provide it as an identity document in their profile. 5. (a) If the caste/community claimed in the application differs from the SSLC book, a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate along with the Gazette notification regarding the change of name must be produced at the time of certificate verification. (b) Candidates must read the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette notification before applying. Applications against General Conditions will be rejected. (c) Candidates who make false claims regarding qualification, experience, etc., will be subject to disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure, including debarment from applying for any post, cancellation of answer scripts/practical test materials, removal/dismissal from service if already appointed, or other appropriate legal/disciplinary actions.
