18-36; Candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, see Part II of the Gazette Notification, Para 2). Note: In addition to the age relaxation allowed under the general rules for employees of the Technical Education Department, they are eligible for an upper age limit relaxation of up to 10 years equal to their length of service. In any case, the upper age limit shall not exceed 50 years as on 01.01.2022.

Three years regular Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the concerned branch awarded by a University or Government recognized institution or equivalent qualification. (GO(P)No.503/2012/H.Edn. Dated 12.10.2012). Note: (a) KS & SSR Part-II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable. (b) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared as equivalent by the Government through executive orders or standing orders, and higher qualifications in the concerned branch, shall be accepted. Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced by the candidate when required by the Commission.

I (a) The vacancies shown above are currently existing. The rank list prepared as per this notification will be valid for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years from the date of coming into force. However, if a new rank list is published for the same post after one year, the rank list prepared as per this notification will cease to be valid from that date. Appointments will be made from the list for the vacancies reported during the validity of the list. (b) 3% of vacancies are reserved for differently abled candidates (Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision) as per GO(P) No.1/2013/S.J.D dated 03/01/2013 and GO(P) No.20/2018/S.J.D dated 26/11/2018. Workshop Instructor/Demonstrator - Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision. Instructor Grade II/Draftsman Grade II - Low Vision only. Blind candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. II (a) KS & SSR Part-II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable. (b) Candidates should read the general conditions included as Part II of the Gazette notification before applying. Applications contrary to general conditions will be rejected. (c) Candidates who submit false claims regarding education, experience, caste, age, etc., will be subject to disciplinary/legal action by the Kerala Public Service Commission as per Rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure, including disqualification, debarment from applying, invalidation of answer scripts/practical test items, removal from service if already appointed, or dismissal.
