18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation will be given to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, see Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions of the Gazette Notification). Note: In addition to the age relaxation allowed under the General Conditions for employees of the Technical Education Department, they are eligible for an upper age limit relaxation of up to 10 years based on their length of service. In any case, the upper age limit shall not exceed 50 years as of 01.01.2022.

Three years regular Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the concerned branch from a University or Government recognized institution or equivalent qualification. (GO(P)No.503/2012/H.Edn. Dated 12.10.2012) Note: (a) KS & SSR Part-II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable. (b) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared as equivalent by the Government through executive orders or standing orders, qualifications determined by the Commission as equivalent to the special rules, and higher qualifications that have the prescribed qualifications as the basic qualification will be accepted. Candidates must produce Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications at the time of requirement by the Commission.

1. The vacancies shown above are currently existing. The Ranked List prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new Ranked List is published for the same post after one year, the current list will cease to be in force. Appointments will be made from the existing list for the vacancies reported while the list is in force. 2. 3% of vacancies are reserved for differently-abled candidates (Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision) as per GO(P) No. 1/2013/SJD dated 03/01/2013 and GO(P) No. 20/2018/SJD dated 26/11/2018. Workshop Instructor/Demonstrator - Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision. Instructor Grade II/Draftsman Grade II - Low Vision only. Blind candidates are not eligible for this post. 3. Candidates must submit their confirmation for writing the examination (if any) through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who submit confirmation will be allowed to download the admission ticket in the last 15 days before the exam date. 4. Candidates with Aadhar card must provide it as an identity document in their profile. 5. If the caste/community claimed in the application is different from that in the SSLC book, a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate along with a Gazette notification regarding the change of name must be produced at the time of certificate verification. 6. Applications submitted in violation of the general conditions will be rejected. 7. Any false claim regarding qualification, experience, etc., will lead to disciplinary action by the Kerala Public Service Commission as per Rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure, including disqualification, debarment, cancellation of answer scripts, or dismissal from service if already appointed.
