18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation will be given to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, see Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions of the Gazette Notification). Note: In addition to the age relaxation allowed under the general rules for employees of the Technical Education Department, they will be given an upper age limit relaxation of up to 10 years for the length of their service. In any case, the upper age limit shall not exceed 50 years as on 01.01.2022.

Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the concerned branch awarded by a University or Government after undergoing a regular course of study of not less than 3 years or equivalent qualification. (GO(P)No.503/2012/H.Edn. Dated 12.10.2012) Note II: (a) KS & SSR Part-II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable. (b) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared by the Government as equivalent to the prescribed educational qualification, or higher qualifications in the concerned branch, for which the prescribed qualification is the basic qualification, will be accepted. Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced by the candidate when required by the Commission.

I (a) The vacancies shown above are currently existing. The Ranked List prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. However, if a new Ranked List is published for the same post after one year, the Ranked List prepared under this notification will cease to be in force. Appointments will be made from the said list to the vacancies reported during the period of validity of the list. (b) 3% of vacancies are reserved for Differently Abled candidates (Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision) as per GO(P) No.1/2013/SJD dated 03/01/2013 and GO(P) No.20/2018/SJD dated 26/11/2018. Workshop Instructor/Demonstrator - Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision. Instructor Grade II/Draftsman Grade II - Low Vision only. Blind candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. 8. Method of submitting applications: Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging in to their profile using their User-ID and password. Click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The photograph uploaded should be one taken after 31/12/2012. Candidates creating a new profile from 01.01.2022 should upload a photograph taken within 6 months. Name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion. The uploaded photograph will be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. No application fee is required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Candidates are advised to keep a printout or soft copy of the online application for future reference. Candidates can take a printout of the application by clicking on the link 'My applications' in their profile. All correspondence with the Commission, regarding the application should be accompanied with the print out of the application. The application will be summarily rejected if it is found non-compliant with the notification conditions. Original documents to prove qualification, experience, caste, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for. The changes made by the candidate in the profile after the last date of receipt of application will not be reflected in the application. It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure the correctness of the particulars in their profile. (b) If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidates must submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile. Such candidates alone can generate and download the Admission Tickets in the last 15 days till the date of test. Applications of candidates who do not submit confirmation within the stipulated period will be rejected. (c) Candidates who have Aadhar Card should add it as ID proof in their profile. 9. Special Instructions to Candidates: (a) In the case of difference in Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate at the time of certificate verification. (b) Candidates are advised to read the General Conditions given in Part II of the Gazette Notification before applying. Applications found contrary to the General Conditions will be rejected. (c) If a candidate makes any false claim about qualification, experience etc. and is admitted to the selection, they will be liable to the disciplinary/legal actions as per Rule 22 of the KPSC Rules of Procedure, including debarment from appearing for any exam, invalidation of answer scripts, removal from service if already appointed, or any other suitable disciplinary action.
