Age Limit

18 – 40. Candidates should be born between 02/01/1981 and 01/01/2003 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities.

Qualifications

1) SSLC pass or equivalent qualification. 2) NAC/NTC in Mechanical/Machinist/Fitter/Electrician trade. 3) 2 years of suitable industrial experience.

Notes

1) Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II, KS&SSR is applicable to this selection. 2) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce Government order proving the equivalency at the time of certificate verification. 3) In case of difference in caste mentioned in SSLC book, candidates should produce caste certificate/non-creamy layer certificate and relevant gazette notification at the time of certificate verification. 4) Experience certificate must be uploaded at the time of application in the prescribed format provided in the notification. 5) Probation: 1 year of probation within a continuous period of 2 years of service as per KCS Rule 184. 6) Selection will be conducted at the state level. 7) Candidates must confirm their participation for OMR/Online test through their One Time Registration profile. 8) Aadhaar card should be provided as identity proof in the profile.
