Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to the Hindu Nadar reservation community of Kerala State only). Note: Candidates not belonging to the Hindu Nadar reservation community will be summarily rejected.

20-39. Candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. [Including relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions]. Note: In no case, the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 years.

(i) Pass in Plus Two/Pre-Degree course with Science subjects/Pass in VHSE in Science subjects/VHSE in Domestic Nursing or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. (ii) Pass in B.Sc Nursing from a recognized University or a course in General Nursing and Midwifery of not less than 3 years duration from a Government recognized institution. (iii) Must be registered as Nurse and Midwife (Women) or Nurse (Men) with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.

1. The vacancies are currently existing. Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district for this notification. The Ranked Lists thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates in the Ranked List published on 22.01.2014 (Malappuram) and 23.04.2014 (Thrissur) for the same post. 2. Candidates belonging to the above reservation community shall submit application for only one district and specify the name of the district in the designated column. Applications submitted to more than one district will be summarily rejected and disciplinary action will be taken. 3. This second NCA notification is issued due to the non-availability of qualified candidates for the first NCA notifications (Cat No: 450/2017, 514/2017) for Malappuram and Thrissur districts. 4. Selection is subject to the special rules as per G.O.(MS) 154/71/PD dated 27.05.71. A person appointed from the district-wise ranked list shall not be allowed a transfer to any other district for a period of 5 years from the date of commencement of service. Any transfer after 5 years shall be subject to the rules in G.O.(MS) 4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in government service for the same post in any district are not eligible to apply, but may apply for higher/lower posts. 5. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. Higher qualifications than those prescribed shall be accepted. Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications must be produced when required by the Commission. 6. Candidates must upload a photograph taken after 31.12.2012. For new registrations, a photograph taken within 6 months must be uploaded. The name of the candidate and the date of taking the photograph must be clearly recorded at the bottom of the photograph. The photograph is valid for 10 years. No application fee is required. 7. Candidates must keep their user ID and password confidential. The application is accepted provisionally. No changes can be made after submission. Candidates should keep a soft copy/print out of the online application for future use. Print out must be produced during correspondence with the Commission. 8. Candidates possessing Aadhar card must provide it as an identity document in their profile. 9. If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who submit confirmation can download the admission ticket. Admission tickets will be available 15 days before the exam date. Failure to submit confirmation will lead to summary rejection of the application. 10. If the caste/community claimed in the application differs from that recorded in the SSLC book, a Gazette notification regarding the change of caste along with a Non-Creamy Layer certificate must be produced at the time of certificate verification. 11. Candidates must read the General Conditions (Part II) along with the Gazette notification. Applications contrary to these will be rejected. 12. Any false claim regarding qualification, experience, etc., will lead to disciplinary action by the Kerala Public Service Commission as per Rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure 1976, including debarment from applying, cancellation of answer scripts, dismissal from service if already appointed, etc.
