18 - 41. Candidates must be born between 02/01/1980 and 01/01/2003 (both dates included). No other age relaxation is applicable for this selection. Note: In the absence of qualified candidates within the specified age limit, the upper age limit may be relaxed up to 50 years. However, under no circumstances shall it exceed 50 years.

Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Science or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Masters Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a University in Kerala or equivalent qualification. Note: 1. Selected candidates must successfully complete the training prescribed by the Food Authority during the probation period from an institution recognized for such training. 2. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. 3. Candidates claiming a specific caste/community in the application that differs from the SSLC book must produce a Gazette notification regarding the caste change along with the Non-Creamy Layer/Caste Certificate at the time of document verification. 4. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of verification.

1. Applications from candidates not belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe will be rejected. 2. The rank list prepared will be valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. If a new rank list is published after one year, the current list will cease to be valid. 3. Appointments will be made from the list for the vacancies mentioned and for additional vacancies of SC/ST candidates reported during the validity of the list. 4. In the absence of Scheduled Tribe candidates, the vacancies reserved for them will be filled by a new notification. 5. Candidates must keep a soft copy/printout of the online application. 6. Candidates must produce documents for educational qualification, experience, caste, age, etc., when required by the Commission. 7. Aadhaar card must be provided as an identity document in the profile. 8. Confirmation for writing the exam must be submitted through the One Time Registration profile. Only those who submit confirmation will be able to download the admission ticket. 9. Failure to submit confirmation within the specified time will lead to unconditional rejection of the application. 10. Providing false claims regarding education/experience and failing to appear for the exam after submitting confirmation will lead to disciplinary action as per KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976 Rule 22.
