18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Diploma in Food Technology with atleast a second class. OR Degree in chemistry with atleast a second class. (Note : Preference will be given to Candidates with Food Technology qualification) OR PG Diploma in Food Analysis and Quality Assurance from the Defence Food Research Laboratory under University of Mysore. OR PG Diploma in Food Analysis and Quality Assurance from a UGC recognised University or National Institutes established by Government of India or Institutes established by the government of kerala. (Link) EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATION Desirable : Experience in the analysis of foods.

Note:- 1. One vacancy set apart for DA – Hearing Impairment from the previous ranked list for the post published on 03.03.2020 vide category no: 105/2017, will be advised from the ranked list published pursuant to this notification. 2. 3% of the vacancies for the post shall be reserved for differently abled candidates with Locomotor disability / Cerebral palsy, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision as per G.O.(P). No.1/13/SJD dated 03.01.2013. i) Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. ii) Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the Notification shall produce the relevant Government order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned. iii) In the case of difference in original caste/ community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidates shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non Creamy Layer Certificate/Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification.
