18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.(Including para 2(i) of the general conditions.) Note : For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification. (Except para 2(i) )

1 A Bachelors Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and B.Ed/B.T in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. (link : https://www.keralapsc.gov.in/sites/default/files/inline-files/circular_12_18_1.pdf Note : The Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the conditions laid down in G.O(MS) No.526/65/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. 2 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test(K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption : (a) Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects/M.Ed in any subject are exempted from acquiring TET(G.O.(P)No.145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16. G.O.(P)No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016 and G.O(P)No.15/2020/G.Edn. Dated 9.10.20) (b) As per the conditions laid down in Government Circular No.1866829/J3/2017 G.Edn.Dated 09.03.2018 those who passes CTET primary stage and CTET Elementary stage were excluded from KTET Cat.I & KTET Cat.II respectively. Also CTET qualification can't be considered as an alternative qualification for KTET Cat.III and Cat.IV. 3 (i) Must have passed SSLC/Plus Two/Pre-Degree with Kannada as I or II Language. OR (ii) A pass in Degree or post Graduation in Kannada Language. (In the absence of the qualifications referred in (i) &(ii) above its equivalent shall also be considered. (G.O(P)No.166/16/G.Edn Dated 30.09.2016).

(i) Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. (ii) Application submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued (iii) A Ranked List will be prepared for the above reservation community for Kasaragod district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district. (iv) The Candidates belonging to above reservation community shall submit application for the post to Kasaragod District, where the vacancy is existing and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column of the online application. (v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD,dated 27.5.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(Ms)No.4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (vi) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. (vii) Post Graduates in Mathematics/Statistics with B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject will also be eligible to apply for the above post. (viii) Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree for the above purpose. (ix) The candidates who have acquired B.Sc Ed in Physics – Chemistry - Mathematics stream conducted by the Regional Institute of Education, Mysore of NCERT are also eligible to apply for the post.[G.O(P)No.117/13/G.Edn dated 30.03.13] (x) The disciplines in which B.Sc/M.Sc and B.Ed/B.T Degree were obtained should be mentioned in the application form. (xi) Candidates applying to the post should have sufficient knowledge in Kannada which will be tested at the time of interview. Question papers for the written test if any will be in Kannada. The candidates should answer the questions in Kannada. In the case of OMR answer scripts, answers are to be marked as instructed. (xii) Rule 10(a) ii of part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post. (xiii) SPECIAL CONCESSIONS REGARDING APPOINTMENT AND AGE LIMIT: Preference will be given to wives of Jawans, First Class Scouts and Guides, and Teachers of Government Primary and Nursery Schools as per specified G.O.s. (xiv) Candidates must register as per “ ONE TIME REGISTRATION” with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in'. (xv) Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile. (xvi) If written /OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidates shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile. (xvii) Special instructions to candidates regarding bogus claims and disciplinary action.
