18-40. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2004 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to SC/ST and other Backward communities. Note:- For concessions allowed in upper age limit subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years of age, please see Para 2 of the General Conditions under Part II of this notification.

(A) A Bachelors Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and B.Ed/B.T in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. Note : The Degree/Diploma awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the conditions laid down in G.O(MS) No.526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appoinment in Government Services. (B) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test(K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption : 1. Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects/M.Ed in any subject are exempted from acquiring TET(G.O.(P)No.145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16, G.O. (P)No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016 and G.O(P)No.15/2020/G.Edn. Dated 9.10.20). 2. As per the conditions laid down in Government Circular No.1866829/J3/2017/G.Edn.Dated 09.03.2018 those who passes CTET Primary stage and CTET Elementary stage were excluded from KTET cat.I & KTET Cat.II respectively. Also CTET qualification can't be considered as an alternative qualification for KTET Cat.III and Cat.IV. C (i) Must have passed SSLC/Plus Two/Pre-Degree with Kannada as I or II Language. OR (ii) A pass in Degree or Post Graduation in Kannada Language . (In the absence of the qualifications referred in (i) & (ii) above, its equivalent shall also be considered. (G.O(P)No.166/16/G.Edn.Dated 30.09.2016).

1. Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. 2. A Ranked List will be prepared for Kasaragod district in pursuance of this notification. 3. Candidates should submit the application for this post to Kasaragod district. 4. The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis. 5. If the community claim in the application differs from the community noted in SSLC, then such changes are to be published in the gazette. 6. 4% vacancies for the above post shall be reserved for Differently Abled candidates. 7. M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. 8. Post Graduates in Mathematics/Statistics with B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject will also be considered for this post. 9. Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree for the above purpose. 10. The candidates who have acquired B.Sc Ed in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics stream conducted by the Regional Institute of Education, Mysore of NCERT are also eligible to apply for the post. 11. The disciplines in which B.Sc/M.Sc and B.Ed/B.T Degree were obtained should be mentioned in the application form. 12. Candidates applying to the post should have sufficient knowledge in Kannada which will be tested at the time of interview. 13. Rule 10(a) ii of part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post. 14. Special concessions regarding appointment and age limit for wives of Jawans, First Class Scouts and Guides, Laboratory Attenders, and Teachers of Government Primary and Nursery Schools are applicable as per the notification. 15. Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile. 16. If written /OMR/Online Test is conducted, candidates shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile.
