District wise Community District Vacancy Scheduled Caste Pathanamthitta 01 (One) Kannur 01 (One)

Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community of Kerala State only)

18 - 44, ie, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Community born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are only eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions) Note :- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years, Please see Para (2) of the General Condition under Part II of this notification [except para 2(i)]

1. Certificate in Automobile Engineering issued after 18 (Eighteen) months course in Industrial Training Institute with 6 months Inplant Training compulsory. 2. Two years practical experience in repairs and maintenance of Motor Vehicles in a recognised Automobile Workshop. 3. Possession of a Motor Driving Licence.

(i) Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than that notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. (iii) A Ranked list will be prepared for the above community for Pathanamthitta and Kannur districts in pursuance of this notification. NCA Ranked List thus prepared and published shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the Districts. (iv) The candidates belonging to above mentioned reservation communities shall submit application for the post to any one of the above districts and shall note the name of that District against the relevant column of the online application. Applications should not be sent to more than one district. If applications are sent contrary to the above direction, and if he/she is selected his/her name will be removed from the Ranked Lists and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. (v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in GO (MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27/05/1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another District unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former District. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O. (MS) No.36/91/P& ARD dated 02.12.1991 for inter district transfers in same department. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one District are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher/lower posts when notified. Note: i. The experience under item 2 should be acquired after acquisition of Certificate in Automobile Engineering. ii. Candidate should possess valid Driving Licence throughout all the stages of selection, i.e., on the last date of receipt of application, OMR/Online Test, etc. iii. Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. iv. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order/ Equivalency Certificate if equivalency is mentioned in the notification to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned.
