Direct Recruitment - Ex-servicemen/Dependents of Ex-servicemen/Dependents of Defence Service Personnel.

18-36. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included). Other backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. In no case, the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years (including all relaxations). Refer to Part II of the Gazette notification for special relaxations.

Must have passed VHSE in Livestock Management.

(i) 10% of vacancies are reserved for Ex-servicemen, Dependents of Ex-servicemen, and Dependents of Defence Service Personnel as per Special Rules. (ii) Candidates belonging to the above categories must produce a certificate from the Tahsildar and a self-attested copy when required by the Commission. In the absence of a Tahsildar's certificate, a certificate from the Commanding Officer containing name, rank, and service details must be produced. (iii) Vacancies reserved for these categories are filled in a specific order of priority: (a) Ex-servicemen, (b) Wives and children of soldiers killed or missing in action, (c) Wives and children of Ex-servicemen/deceased Ex-servicemen, (d) Wives and children of serving soldiers, (e) Dependent brothers and sisters of soldiers killed in action, (f) Dependent brothers and sisters of Ex-servicemen and serving soldiers. (iv) Selected candidates will be appointed provisionally and must undergo Livestock Inspector Training / Poultry Assistant Training. Successful completion of training is considered as probation. Failure to complete the training after three chances will result in termination. (v) Selected trainees must execute a bond to serve the Kerala Government for at least five years. (vi) Each trainee must produce a medical certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon. (vii) Separate rank lists will be prepared for each district. The list will remain in force for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. (viii) Inter-district transfer is not allowed for five years from the date of commencement of service, except under specific government orders. (ix) Physically disabled candidates are eligible for this post. (x) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. (xi) All qualifications must be acquired before the last date of application. (xii) Candidates must produce original documents when required by the Commission. (xiii) Candidates with Aadhar card must provide it as an identity document in their profile.
