18-40. Candidates born between 02/01/1983 and 01/01/2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation.
Qualifications
(A) A Degree in Mathematics or Statistics with B.Ed/BT degree in the concerned subject acquired from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent thereto. (B) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. (C) Must have passed SSLC/Plus Two/Pre-degree examination with Tamil as first or second language or a Degree or Post Graduate Degree in Tamil.
Notes
1. Candidates should submit applications only through the official website of the Kerala Public Service Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in) after One Time Registration. 2. A rank list will be prepared for Idukki district. The rank list will be valid for a minimum period of one year and a maximum of three years. 3. Candidates should apply only to Idukki district. 4. Selection will be made on a district-wise basis as per G.O.(MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. 5. 4% of vacancies are reserved for differently abled candidates as per G.O(P)No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. 6. Candidates must have working knowledge of Tamil language. 7. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a) ii is applicable. 8. Special age relaxation and weightage are applicable for certain categories as per government orders mentioned in the notification.
