Age Limit

18-43. Candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Usual age relaxation as per rules).

Qualifications

(1) A Degree in Mathematics or Statistics with at least 50% marks and B.Ed/BT degree in the concerned subject acquired from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent thereto. (2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. (3) (i) Must have passed SSLC/Plus Two/Pre-degree with Tamil as first or second language. OR (ii) Must have a Degree or Post Graduate Degree in Tamil.

Notes

Candidates must apply online through the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the notified communities will be rejected. Separate rank lists will be prepared for each community for Idukki district. Candidates must have sufficient knowledge of Tamil language. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a) ii is applicable. Candidates must produce certificates as required by the Commission. For detailed exemptions regarding K-TET and other qualifications, refer to the official notification.
