Recruitment By Transfer from the employees of other categories of the Kerala State Pollution Control Board. Note:- In the absence of qualified hands for By Transfer Recruitment, the vacancies will be filled up by Direct Recruitment. Such passed over vacancies will not be compensated later.

Upper age limit is not applicable for this post. (for other conditions regarding the age relaxation para 2 and sub paras of the general conditions in part II are not applicable for this post.)

Second Class Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks in any branch of Chemistry/Environmental Science/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with subsidiary as Chemistry or Microbiology from a UGC recognised University or equivalent qualification. Note:- The subsidiary subjects specified are applicable only in respect of degree in Life Science.

1. The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked List of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said Ranked List will continue to be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and also against the vacancies if any reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list. 2. The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation, the Appointing Authority shall terminate the service of the candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the Appointing Authority shall be made within the period of his/ her probation or 240 days from the date of his /her joining duty whichever is earlier. Note: The candidates who apply for By Transfer Recruitment shall produce a service certificate in original in the form prescribed below and the same shall be uploaded in their profile and the original shall be produced at the time of certificate verification. (i) The rules regarding the reservation of appointment contemplated in the Rule 14 to 17 of Part II of the Kerala State & Subordinate Rules, 1958 are not applicable to Appointment By Transfer. (ii) Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR are applicable. (iii) The basic academic qualification prescibed for the posts shall be obtained from a UGC recognized University or National Institutes established by the Central Government or Institutions established by Government of Kerala or its equivalent. (iv) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualification which pre–suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. Training/Studies:- It shall be obligatory on the part of employees of the categories in the service to go for higher studies/training if the Board so directs.
