Medical Records Librarian Grade II

18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to other backward communities and SC/ST are eligible for usual age relaxation. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, see Part-2 of the General Conditions, excluding para 2(i)).

(1) Degree in Medical Documentation from a recognized University. (Preference will be given to those who possess Post Graduate Degree in Medical Documentation.) OR (2) Diploma in Medical Records Science from the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram. In the absence of candidates with the above qualifications, candidates with Pre-degree / Higher Secondary / Plus Two or equivalent qualification with one year training in Medical Records keeping from a recognized Medical College will also be considered.

Note: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared equivalent by the Government through executive orders or standing orders, and qualifications prescribed in the special rules as equivalent to the specified qualifications, and higher qualifications which have the specified qualifications as the basic qualification, will be accepted. Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications must be produced by the candidate when required by the Commission. 4% of the vacancies reported are reserved for differently abled candidates as per G.O(P) No. 05/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. Candidates must produce non-creamy layer certificate/caste certificate along with caste change gazette notification if the caste/community mentioned in the application differs from the SSLC book. Candidates must read Part II of the General Conditions before applying. Applications submitted against general conditions will be rejected. Candidates submitting false information regarding education, experience, etc., will be subject to disciplinary action as per Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure Rule 22, including debarment, cancellation of exams, and dismissal from service if already appointed. Candidates with Aadhar card must provide it as an identity document in their profile.
