20-46. Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities (for other conditions regarding age relaxations please see Para 2 of the General conditions).

(a) A Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the concerned subject from any of the universities in Kerala or from any other university recognized by any of the universities in Kerala. (b) Permanent 'A' class Registration with Travancore-Cochin Medical Council (Council of indigenous Medicine)

Note:- Due to the non availability of DA- LD/CP candidate as per section 34(2) of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 in the previous rank list of this post, one vacancy is reserved for the DA-LD/CP category. The vacancy will be filled from the said category from the ranked list of this notification. In the absence of above said DA category in the rank list as per this notification, the same will be advised from other eligible DA categories as per Section 34(2) of above said Act. In the absence of DA candidates, it will be advised from General Category. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancy reserved for DA (LD/CP) noted above and also against the vacancies reported to the Commission during the period of currency of the list. Note :- 4 % of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled Candidates with disabilities as specified vide GO(P) No. 5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject has been made compulsory qualification for appointment by direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor. 2 If post-graduate holders of any subject are not available,post-graduate qualification prescribed by Central Council of Indian Medicine shall be admissible for that subject from time to time. 3 Rule 10 a(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders, or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
