I By-Transfer Recruitment (565/2022) Recruitment by transfer from Head masters and High School Teachers in the Kerala General Education subordinate service and Teachers of Government Higher Secondary School having the qualifications and experience prescribed for the post. In the absence of qualified candidates for appointment under item(I) above, by Direct Recruitment. II Direct Recruitment (566/2022)

(1) For Recruitment By – Transfer: No upper age limit is prescribed for recruitment By-Transfer (2) For Direct Recruitment: 22-40. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this Post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST Candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see Para (2) of the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette Notification)

For Recruitment By-Transfer and Direct Recruitment (1) Masters Degree in the concerned subject or discipline with atleast 50% marks or its equivalent and good academic records. (G.O(P)No.115/2008/H.Edn.Dated:27.09.2008) (2) M.Ed Degree with not less than 55 % marks (G.O(P)No.102/2011/H.Edn.Dated:19.07.2011) (3) Three years teaching experience in Schools or Colleges after acquiring the professional qualifications. (4) Must have passed a comprehensive test specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the State Government in this behalf. When qualifications are equal preference shall be given to candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.

Note:- 1. Method of Direct Recruitment will be considered only in the absence of qualified candidates for recruitment by transfer. 2. Candidates who apply for By-Transfer recruitment should obtain a service certificate in original in the form mentioned below from the head of institution in which they are working as HM/HST/HSS Teacher and produce the same as and when required by the Commission. 4 % of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled Candidates with disabilities as specified vide GO(P)No 7/2022/SJD dtd 28/10/2022. Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship will be awarded weightage marks provided that such non-qualifying degrees shall be in the subjects pertaining to the basic qualification stipulated for the post.Weightage marks for non qualifying degrees for ranking will be awarded as detailed below. Non-Qualifying M.Phil - 2 marks Non-Qualifying Ph.D- 4 marks Both M.Phil & Ph.D (Non-Qualifying) -5 marks Post Doctoral Fellowship - 2 marks 3) Non-Qualifying degree means the additional qualifications which are earned apart from the qualifications insisted on as essential qualifications for the post. If Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship is reckoned as necessary qualification for the post,weightage marks will not be awarded for it. 4) Weightage marks will be awarded only to those non-qualifying degrees which are claimed in the application and which are acquired on or before the last date for receipt of application. 5) The Educational qualification amended vide G.O.(P)No.115/2008/H.Edn dt.27.09.2008 will not be insisted in the case of those who were in service before the date of publication of the Kerala Collegiate Education Service (Amendment) Special Rules, 2008. 6) The Degrees / Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the condition laid down in G.O (M.S) No.526/PD dated 17/07/1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. 7) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the special Rules or found acceptable by the commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post.The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when rquired by the Commission Exemption:- 1)The Candidates having Ph. D Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET (GO(P)No. 86/07/H. Edn. Dated:19.06.2007) Reservation:- Rules of reservation provided under rules 14 to 17 of part II of KS & SSR 1958 are not applicable in the case of Recruitment By-Transfer.
