Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only).

21 - 50 Only candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Other age relaxations in usual are not applicable to this selection)

i) 1) Post Graduate Medical Degree (M.D/M.S) or DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized University. 2) Three years teaching experience or such other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. 3) Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore - Cochin Medical Council). NB: Candidates claiming equivalence of qualification should produce the Government Order to prove the qualification at the time of certificate verification.

1. The rank list prepared pursuant to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years, provided that said list will not be in force if a new rank list is published after the expiry of one year. Appointments from the said list will be made for the vacancies reported to the Commission for Special Recruitment exclusively for Scheduled Tribes during the period of validity of the list. 2. Persons appointed to this post shall serve in the Defence Services or on Defence assignments anywhere in India or abroad, for four (4) years (including period of training) within the first ten (10) years of their service. This condition is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and to differently abled candidates. 3. Applications submitted by candidates other than Scheduled Tribe candidates will be rejected summarily. Individual communication regarding the rejection of their applications will not be issued. 4. KS&SSR part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable for this selection. 5. Post Graduate Degree obtained through Residency Programme is treated as teaching experience for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates who have obtained Post Graduate Degree without Residency Programme should produce a certificate obtained from the Principal of the College where he/she studied, stating that he/she has got teaching/clinical experience during the Post Graduate study period. 6. DNB qualifications should have been acquired from a Medical College recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala. 7. Temporary registration obtained from any Medical Council will not be considered.
