Age Limit
18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other backward communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. (Refer to Part-2 of the General Conditions for details regarding age relaxation).
Qualifications
(1) Pass in Pre-Degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as optional subjects or equivalent qualification. (2) Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant course (two years) conducted in Medical Colleges in Kerala or equivalent qualification.
Notes
Note: 4% of the reported vacancies are reserved for differently-abled candidates as per GO(P)No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. Candidates must possess the required qualifications as of the date of notification or equivalent qualifications admitted by the Commission. Government orders regarding equivalent or higher qualifications must be produced when required by the Commission. Candidates are advised to read the general conditions in Part II of the notification. False claims regarding qualifications or experience will lead to disciplinary action by the Commission including debarment, cancellation of candidature, or dismissal from service if already appointed.
