18 – 44. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). In the absence of qualified candidates within the specified age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. However, in no case shall it exceed 50 years.

(1) Degree in Veterinary Science. (2) Registration with Kerala State Veterinary Council (as per Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 [Central Act 52 of 1984]). (3) Ability to handle Malayalam language. Note: Candidates belonging to linguistic minority communities are exempted from the requirement of knowledge of Malayalam. However, they must pass the Malayalam Language Test as per Kerala State & Subordinate Service Rules 1958 Part 2 Rule 10(aaa) later.

1. The Ranked List prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new Ranked List is published for the same post after one year, the current list will cease to be in force. 2. Appointments will be made from the list to the vacancies shown above and to the vacancies reported exclusively for Scheduled Tribes during the validity of the list. 3. Applications from candidates not belonging to Scheduled Tribes will be rejected without notice. 4. Candidates must pass the training conducted by the Animal Husbandry Department during the probation period. This training will be considered as duty. 5. Candidates who have passed the B.V.Sc & A.H course with internship training conducted by Kerala Agricultural University or any other university are exempted from the training. 6. Candidates must confirm their participation in the examination (if any) through their One Time Registration profile. Admission tickets will be available for download only for those who confirm. 7. Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31.12.2011 with their name and date of photo taken clearly recorded on it. The photo is valid for 10 years. 8. Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the online application for future use. 9. Candidates must link their Aadhaar card in their profile as an identity document.
