Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to SCCC community only).

(18-42) Candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per Part II, Rule 2(i) of the General Rules). Note: For those converted to Christianity from Scheduled Castes after attaining majority and their children, the upper age limit is 44 years. They should be born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included).

1) Degree in Veterinary Science. 2) Must have valid registration with Kerala State Veterinary Council as per the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Central Act 52 of 1984). 3) Must have knowledge of Malayalam language.

1. Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1958 Part II Rule 10 (a)(ii) is applicable. 2. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification. 3. Training: Candidates appointed as Veterinary Surgeon shall undergo the training conducted by the Animal Husbandry Department within the probation period. The training period will be treated as duty for the purpose of probation. 4. Candidates who have completed 5 years of service as Livestock Assistant in the Animal Husbandry Department and those discharged from the Army are exempted from the training. 5. Candidates who have passed B.V.Sc & A.H course with internship training program conducted by Kerala Agricultural University or any other Agricultural University are exempted from the training. 6. Candidates must ensure that the details in their profile are correct. In all correspondence with the Commission, the User ID must be quoted. 7. Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the notified community will be rejected without any separate notification. 8. Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the online application for future use. 9. Candidates must produce the print out of the application at the time of any correspondence with the Commission. 10. If any written/OMR/Online test is conducted, candidates must confirm their attendance through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who confirm their attendance will be issued admission tickets. 11. Candidates with Aadhar card must provide it as an identity document in their profile. 12. Candidates must produce Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate along with Gazette notification regarding change of name/caste if the caste/community mentioned in the application differs from that in the SSLC book. 13. Any false claim regarding qualification, experience, etc., will lead to debarment from the Commission's examinations and other disciplinary actions.
