Age Limit
19-36: Candidates should be born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation is applicable as per Part II, Rule 2(i) of the General Rules.
Qualifications
(1) Educational Qualification: Must have passed Plus Two or equivalent examination. (2) Physical Qualifications: Must have a minimum height of 150 cm. (3) Endurance Test: All candidates must successfully complete an endurance test of running 2.5 kilometers within 15 minutes. (4) Physical Efficiency Test: Must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items of the National Physical Efficiency Test (100m run, High Jump, Long Jump, Putting the Shot (4kg), 200m run, Throwing the throw ball, Shuttle race (4x25m), Skipping (1 minute)). (5) Physical Fitness and Vision: Must possess physical fitness and vision as certified by a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon/Junior Consultant.
Notes
(i) Candidates must register via 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' on www.keralapsc.gov.in. (ii) Candidates who have already registered can apply by logging into their profile using their User ID and Password. (iii) Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the specified reservation community will be summarily rejected. (iv) Candidates should not apply for more than one district. (v) NCC 'A', 'B', 'C' certificate holders are eligible for 2%, 3%, 5% weightage marks respectively. (vi) Candidates must undergo 180 days of basic training as per Excise Commissioner's instructions. (vii) Medical certificate in the prescribed format must be produced at the time of physical efficiency test/endurance test. (viii) Candidates must upload the medical certificate in the profile at the time of certificate verification. (ix) Applications once submitted are provisional and cannot be changed or deleted. (x) Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the online application. (xi) If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their profile to generate admission tickets.
