Women Civil Excise Officer (Trainee)

Direct Recruitment-(District wise)(Only from the women candidates of Muslim community only)

Muslim : 19- 34 Candidates born between 02.01.1991 and 01.01.2006 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the Part II of General Conditions) (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see Para (2) of the General Conditions under part II of this notification (except para 2(i)).

(1) Educational Qualifications : Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent. (2) Physical Qualifications: Muslim : The height shall be not less than 152 cms. (3) Endurance Test: All candidates should successfully complete an endurance test of running 2.5 Kilometers within 15 minutes. (4) Physical Efficiency Test: Must qualify in any five events out of eight events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency Test (One Star Standard Test) 1. 100 Meters Run : 17 Seconds 2. High Jump : 1.06 Meters 3. Long Jump : 3.05 Meters 4. Putting the Shot (4 Kgs) : 4.88 Meters 5. 200 Meters run : 36 Seconds 6. Throwing the throw ball : 14 Meters 7. Shuttle Race (4x25 meter) : 26 Seconds 8. Skipping (One Minute) : 80 times (5) Physique and Eye sight: (i) Must be certified by a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon/Junior consultant as to her physical fitness and capacity for active outdoor work. The Medical Certificate has to be produced as and when called for. (ii) Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses Vision: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen (Right/Left), Near Vision 0.5 Snellen (Right/Left) (iii) Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands and limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing.

(i) Male candidates and differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. (ii) The name, educational qualification and age for this post is notified as per G.O(P)No.113/08/TD dated 04.06.2008(SRO 587/2008), G.O(P)No.264/10/TD dated 10.11.2010(SRO 1025/2010), G.O(P)No.178/2015/TD dated 03.10.2015, (SRO 669/2015) and G.O(Rt.)No.766/2018/TD dated 21.10.2018. (iii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than that notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. (iv) The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of Mother Ranked List published for the post .This is the second NCA notification due to the non availability of qualified candidates in the above mentioned community from the mother ranked lists and first NCA Notification published for the post. (v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless she completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. (vi) NCC Cadets having `A' `B' & `C' Certificates will be given weightage marks at the rate of 2%, 3% and 5% respectively (as per GO(Ms)No.112/2007/H.Edn dated 21.08.2007). (vii) Students Police Cadet (SPC) certificate holders will be given weightage marks as per G.O (MS) No.06/2025/P&ARD dated 01.03.2025 (viii) Women Civil Excise Officer shall not be appointed in the substantive post till the successful completion of basic training for a period of not less than six months, subject to the minimum of 180 working days as may be decided by the Commissioner of Excise.
