18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the general conditions 2(i)). Note:- For conditions regarding other age relaxations please see Part II of the General Conditions except rule 2(i). (Not exceeding maximum age limit of 50 years under any circumstances).

1) Academic Qualifications A Degree in Hindi or Oriental Title in Hindi (The Oriental Title awarded by the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent thereto, with Part III of the Degree as main subject) awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Sahithya Acharya Certificate issued by Kerala Hindi Prachara Sabha and SSLC or equivalent examination passed. OR Praveen Examination of Dakshina Bharatha Hindi Prachara Sabha, Madras and SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or equivalent examination passed. 2) Training Qualifications B.Ed/ B.T/ L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Language Teacher Training Certificate/ Diploma in Hindi issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR Diploma in Hindi Teacher Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR Passed any of the following examinations of Kendriya Hindi Sikshan Mandul, Agra: 1) Hindi Sikshan Praveena 2) Hindi Sikshan Parangat 3) Hindi Sikshan Nishnat OR Equivalent training qualification to Acharya Title of Kerala Hindi Prachara Sabha or Shiksha Snatha of Dakshina Bharatha Hindi Prachara Sabha. 3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post. Exemption: Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET qualification. (G.O.(P) No.145/16/G.Edn., Dated 30.08.2016, G.O.(P)No.206/16/G.Edn., Dated 08.12.2016, G.O.(P)No.15/2020/G.Edn., Dated 09.10.2020) Note:- (i) M.Phil awarded in the concerned subject from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala shall be considered. (ii) B.Ed should be in the concerned language (Hindi). (iii) Candidates who possess Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with B.Ed/B.T/L.T are also eligible to apply for the post. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order along with certificate and prove the same at the time of certificate verification.

Special concessions regarding age limit and appointment are applicable as per rules for wives of jawans, first class scouts and guides, and regular teachers in Government nursery/primary schools. Application fee is not required. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing examination.
