18-44, Only Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. No other age relaxation will be allowed. Note:- In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. But, in no case, the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years.

A Bachelor Degree in the concerned Engineering stream from a UGC/AICTE recognised University or a National Institute established by the Government of India or Institute established by the Government of Kerala or its equivalent.

Note: The above Vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year is published for this post under the same method of appointment. Advices for appointment will be made for the above vacancy and also for the vacancies reported for Special Recruitment from Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe during the pendency of the list. Vacancies of the above post reported exclusively for Scheduled Tribes will also be advised from this list and only in the absence of Scheduled Tribe candidates in this list, fresh notification for 'Scheduled Tribes' will be issued for such vacancies. Note:- Applications received from candidates other than Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates will be rejected. Individual communications regarding the rejection of their applications for the above reason will not be issued. Note :- 1 The Degrees / Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an Act passed by the Parliament / State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the conditions laid down in G.O(M.S) No. 526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. 2 Rule 10 (a) (ii) of part II of KS & SSR is applicable. 3 In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. Probation: Every Person appointed to this post shall from the date on which he joins duty be on Probation, for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Test Qualification: Every person appointed to the post shall pass the Animal Husbandry Department Manual Test and Account Test for Executive officers of Kerala within the period of probation if they have not already passed the tests.
