Legal Assistant Grade II

2 (Two) Anticipated Vacancies.[The vacancies are set apart for appointment by transfer from among the members who are rendering service in any of the departments under the Government of Kerala or in the Kerala High Court service]

Appointment by transfer from among qualified employees working in any department under the Government of Kerala or in the Kerala High Court service. Note:- If qualified candidates are not available from any department under the Government of Kerala or in the Kerala High Court service for appointment by transfer, the vacancies set apart for that category will be filled up by appointment by transfer from among qualified employees working in any post in the Kerala Secretariat Subordinate Service in the same manner. If qualified candidates are not available in both the categories mentioned above, the vacancies set apart for those categories will be filled up by direct recruitment.

18-50. Candidates must have been born between 02.01.1970 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included). (Other conditions regarding age relaxation are not applicable to this selection.)

1. A Degree in Law from a recognized University. 2. Regular service for not less than three years in any post in any Government Department or Kerala High Court Service. Note (a) 1. Candidates who secure not less than 40% marks in the examination conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission for selection to the post of Legal Assistant Grade II alone will be considered for appointment by transfer. But if the general cut off mark of the examination conducted for direct recruitment to the post of Legal Assistant Grade II is below 40% - then that mark will be applicable for appointment by transfer.. 2. Candidates advised through Employment Exchange or working on provisional arrangement are not eligible to apply for this notification. Note (b) 1. Rules 14 to 17 of Part II of Kerala State & Subordinate Service Rules 1958 regarding reservation are not applicable to this selection. 2. KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. 3. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of the qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the Government Order proving equivalency at the time of verification, only then such qualification shall be considered as equivalent. 4. Candidates who claim proper caste/community in the application and it turns out to be different from that noted in the SSALC book, Non-Creamy Layer / Caste Certificate along with the Gazette Notification regarding change of caste should be produced at the time of certificate verification. Note (c):- Candidates submitting application for appointment by transfer shall upload the Service Certificate in the following format obtained from their Head of Office / Department in their profile and shall produce the original when required by the Commission.

1. Candidates must register as per 'One Time Registration' with the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. 2. Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed legibly at the bottom of the photograph. The photograph once uploaded shall have a validity of 10 years from the date of uploading. 3. No application fee is required. 4. Candidates should keep a soft copy/print out of the online application for future use. 5. Confirmation for writing/OMR/Online examination must be submitted through One Time Registration profile by the candidates. 6. Candidates who have Aadhar Card should enter Aadhar Card as ID proof in their profile.
