18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2002 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. [including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of General Conditions]. Note: For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification.

1 S.S.L.C or its equivalent qualification. 2 Degree in Urdu conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Urdu awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Pass in Adib-I-Fazil (Preliminary) Examination in Urdu conducted by anyone of the Universities in Kerala. OR A Pass in Urdu Higher Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR BA Urdu and Islamic History double Main Course by Kannur University. (G.O (MS) No.158/18/G.Edn. Dated 12.11.2018) Note: Disciplines in which BA/Title of oriental learning obtained should be mentioned 3 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption:- Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/ M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O.(P)No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.2016 and G.O.(P)No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). Note:- (i) M Ed which is prescribed as a substitute qualification for K-TET need not be Subject specific ( GO (P) No. 15/2020/G Edn dated 09.10.2020) (ii) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. NB: (i) Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. (ii) Applications of candidates who have claimed qualification equivalent to those prescribed in the Gazette Notification for the post will be considered equivalent only if they produce Government Orders to prove equivalency at the time of verification.

(i) Conventional type applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. But in the absence of Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe Community , candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste will be Considered. (iii) Ranked lists will be prepared for Malappuram district for the community in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district or three years from the date of publication of this NCA Ranked list whichever is earlier. (iv) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he or she completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961. But as per the GO(P) No 12/96/P&ARD dated 16.3.1996 the condition of 5 years service is not applicable for transfer to Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod districts. The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And this concession will be granted only once in the career of a Govt Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (v) The Candidates belonging to above reservation community shall submit application for the post to the Malappuram district and note the name of that district against the relevant column of the online application. (vi) In case of change in Caste/Community noted in the SSLC Book, candidates must claim their original Caste/Community in the application and shall produce Community Certificate/Non Creamy Layer Certificate as the case may be issued by the Revenue Authorities and the Gazette Notification publishing the change of Caste/Community at the time of OTR Verification for selection to the above post.
