Age Limit
18-36. Only candidates born between 2.1.1978 and 1.1.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation.
Note :
(i) For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification .
(ii) The provisional hands working in the above concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service put in subject to a maximum of five years from the upper age limit provided they are within the prescribed age limit on the date of their first appointment in the above concern. But the regular employees of the concern are not eligible for the above concession for further appointment. The provisional hands should obtain certificate showing the period of their provisional service in the concern and shall produce the same as and when required by the Commission. It would also be clearly specified in the certificate that they were not working in the regular service of the concern.
(iii) The retrenched employees of the Kerala Fisheries Corporation will be given age relaxation as stipulated in the GO (Rt) No 1942/84/PW dated 31.12.1984 to the extent of their service subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years. These candidates will also be given preference in the matter of recruitment among other candidates with equal marks. Such candidates should obtain a certificate from the Managing Director, Kerala Fisheries Corporation Limited to prove their length of service in the company and the date of retrenchment and produce the same as and when required by the Commission.
Qualifications
(i) Graduation in Law of a recognized University.
(ii) At least 2 (two) years experience at the Bar or in the Legal section of Govt or in a Government owned Company/Corporation or any other Company/Corporation registered under the `Indian Companies' Act.

(i) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked list thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and those that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the currency of the lists.
(ii) Applications should not be submitted to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction, and if the candidate is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. Candidates should note the name of the District concerned in the relevant column.
(iii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (Ms)No.154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS)No.4/61/PD, dated 02.1.1961.
Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
(iv) 3% of the Total vacancies reported for Direct Recruitment are reserved for PH candidates belonging to the categories of Locomotor disability/cerebral Palsy & Low Vision vide G.O (P) No 1/13/ SJD dtd 3.01.13.
Note:-
(i) Near relatives of personnel who were killed or permanently disabled in action or reported to be missing shall be given preference in the matter of recruitment, provided they possess the prescribed qualifications. The concession will be available only to the near relation who is or was wholly dependent on such servicemen and only to one relative in the case of each servicemen. For the purpose of their concession, the term “near relatives” will be defined as widow/wife, son, daughter, sister, brother, father, mother, niece and nephew of jawans. This concession will also apply to the near relatives of the Armed Police personnel on deputation to Nagaland if the Armed personnel were killed or permanently disabled or reported to be missing in action while serving in Nagaland and also to be near relatives of personnel killed or disabled or missing as a result of clash with hostile foreign nationals on Jammu and Kashmir ceasefire line or the Chinese line of actual control in Nafa or Ladakh or on across the border of India with foreign countries with effect from 1.4.1965 and personnel who died as a result of adverse climate on terrain conditions or at high altitude in forward areas. Such applications should produce true copies of certificates received from the Tahsildar concerned to prove their relationship with the jawan.
(ii) Candidates already in Government Service or Quasi Government Institutions or in the Kerala Financial Corporation Service whether in a permanent, temporary or provisional capacity, must apply through the proper channel. The candidate must possess all the qualifications (including age) prescribed for the post. A candidate in service, whether in Government or Quasi Government office will be allowed to present his application in original along with a receipt signed by the Head of the office that he has received a copy of the application and that he will communicate his objections if any, to the entertainment of the application within one month from the last date fixed for the receipt of the application. (Please see the format of the receipt appended with the general conditions).
(iii) The Kerala Public Service Commission have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the service of Kerala Financial Corporation if it is subsequently found that such service was made under mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of candidate provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of his/her probation/240 days from the date of his/her joining duty whichever is earlier.
(iv) Sub paras v,ix,x,xi,xii and xiii in para 2 and para 6, 7 of the general conditions are not applicable to this post.
(v) The selection to the concern will be subject to the rules and regulations made from time to time.
(vi) The Ex-General Reserve Engineer Force Personnel are not eligible for the concession available to the ex-serviceman.
