18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxation as per Para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). Note :- For conditions regarding the upper age limit please see Part II of the Gazette Notification (except Para 2(i)). Subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years.

1 A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course passed by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. OR SSLC passed with Arabic as First Language (Full Course) Paper I and II awarded by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR A pass in SSLC or equivalent examination and any of the following qualifications: 1. Munshi-the-Arabic (Higher) Examination passed by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 2. Munshi-the-Arabic (Lower) Examination passed by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 3. Arabic Teachers Examination passed by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 4. Entrance Examination in Arabic conducted by the Kerala / Calicut Universities. Note: In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree course conducted by the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent to BA Arabic is also declared as a sufficient qualification for the post (G.O (MS) No. 8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019). Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) passed for this post. Exemption - Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O.(P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016). Note: 1) As per GO(P) No 15/2020/G.Edn dated 09.10.2020, M.Ed is not made mandatory for KTET. 2) M.Phil awarded for the concerned subject should be from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. 3) The equivalency certificate of the respective qualification should be produced at the time of certificate verification. 4) Candidates possessing SSLC or equivalent qualification as basic qualification as per G.O (MS) No. 232/09/G.Edn dated 30.11.2009 shall be considered. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 a(ii) is applicable for this post.

(i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the reservation communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected without any intimation. No rejection memo will be sent to such candidates. (ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the respective communities, however, the validity of NCA rank list for a period of 3 years from the date on which it was brought into force or till the date of expiry of the minimum period of validity of the Ranked list published initially whichever is earlier. (iii) The selection pursuant to the notification will be subject to the rules framed under the Government Order(MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971 in respect of reservation to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in the matter of recruitment on district basis. A person advised and appointed from the Ranked List prepared on district-wise basis shall not be transferred on mutual or other transfer from the district/sub district to another district/sub district until the completion of five years service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. (iv) Candidates shall submit application to only one district in response to the notification and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column of the online application.
