Anticipated vacancies Due to the non availability of DA-(H.I) candidates as per Section 34(2) of The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 in the previous ranked list of this post, 1(One) vacancy is reserved for this DA(HI) category. The same will be filled from the said category from the ranked list, following this notification. In the absence of the above said DA category in the ranked list as per this notification, the vacancy will be filled from other eligible DA categories as per Section 34(2) of the above said Act. In the absence of DA candidates, it will be advised from General Category.

Age Limit
18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities .The concession in upper age limit are available subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty)years. [For other conditions regarding the age relaxation please see Part-II, Para 2 of the General Conditions of the Gazette notification]
Qualifications
1. Pass in S.S.L.C or equivalent qualification. 2. ITI certificate in the trade of Electrician or equivalent qualification. 3. Wireman Competency Certificate / Permit issued by the Kerala Electricity Licensing Board.
Notes
Note:- 3% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide G.O.(P) No. 01/13/SJD dated 03.01.2013 Note:(1) KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. Note:(2) In addition to the qualifications mentioned in this Notification,the qualifications declared by the Government as equivalent to the prescribed educational qualifications by Executive orders or by Standing orders and Higher qualifications of which the prescribed qualifications are the basic qualifications,shall be accepted. The relevant Government order to prove the Equivalent / Higher qualifications shall be produced as and when called for by the Commission.
