Direct Recruitment from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste only.

18-45 Only Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (including relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). In no case the maximum upper age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years. Note:- The provisional hands working in the above concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service put in subject to a maximum of Five years from the upper age limit provided they are within the prescribed age limit on the date of their first appointment in the above concern. But the regular employees of the concern are not eligible for the above concession for further appointment. The provisional hands should obtain a certificate showing the period of their provisional service in the concern and shall produce the same as and when required by the Commission. It would also be clearly specified in the certificate that they were not working in the regular service of the concern. a) Diploma in Electrical Engineering . OR In the absence of Candidates with the above qualifications, Certificate awarded by the ITI after having completed 18 months course in the trade of Electrician and successful completion of apprenticeship. b) Two years experience in a film studio of repute.

Note:- (i) The above vacancy is existing at present. The Ranked List published as per this notification will be valid until the candidate is advised and appointed against the vacancy arised due to the paucity of candidates belongs to Scheduled Caste in the Ranked List published on 25.10.2021 for the post as per Category No.321/2019. This is the Third NCA notification issued due to the Paucity of qualified candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste after the issuance of the First and Second NCA notifications as given below: NCA Category No Gazette Date First NCA 340/2022 16.08.2022 Second NCA 094/2024 15.05.2024 (ii) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. Note:- Applications submitted by candidates belonging to community other than Scheduled Caste will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to these candidates. EQUIVALENT/HIGHER QUALIFICATIONS Note: (i) Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. (ii) “In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquistion of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the commission”. (iii) In the absence of Scheduled Caste candidates having prescribed experience qualification, Scheduled Caste candidates without experience will also be considered for the selection. 8. Probation: The probation period is applicable as per the provisions of the Special Rules of the Kerala State Film Development Corporation Ltd. NB:- The veracity of the experience certificate will be subjected to scrutiny and legal actions will be initiated against those who issue or produce bogus certificate.
