Direct Recruitment - From among the employees of Kerala Water Authority only.

18-50 (In no case the upper age limit for recruitment shall exceed 50 years.)

A degree in Science with Microbiology as the main subject from a UGC recognized University or from a National Institute established by the Central Government or from an institution recognized by the Government of Kerala or equivalent qualification. [G.O. (P) No. 1/2023/WRD dated 27.01.2023.]

i) The vacancies shown above are currently in existence. The ranked list prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. Provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new ranked list is published after the expiry of the minimum period of one year. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and also against the vacancies if any reported to the Commission during the currency of the list. ii) The Kerala Public Service Commission has the power to cancel any advice for appointment to the above post if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under a mistake. In such a case the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate. Any such cancellation of advice and termination of service shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty, whichever is earlier. Note 1: Candidates must be working in any lower category in the Kerala Water Authority with not less than two years of service as per the Kerala Water Authority (Administrative, Ministerial, Last Grade) Service Rules, 2011 under G.O. (P) No. 1/2023/WRD dated 27.01.2023. Note 2: The ranked list for direct recruitment will be prepared from the eligible candidates. Note 3: The reservation rules from 14 to 17 of Part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules are not applicable to this selection. Note 4: Physically disabled candidates are not eligible for age relaxation for this post. Note 5: Candidates must obtain a Service Certificate in the prescribed format from the Head of Department and produce it when required by the Commission.
