18-41. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). In the absence of qualified candidates within the specified age limit, relaxation up to 50 years will be allowed. However, in no case shall it exceed 50 years.

1. Must have passed SSLC Examination. 2. Must have passed the Laboratory Attenders Test conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission. Note 1: It is not mandatory to have passed the Laboratory Attenders Test at the time of appointment. The test must be passed within the probation period.

1. Rule 10(a)(ii) of KS&SSR Part II is applicable regarding qualifications. 2. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. 3. In case of any discrepancy in the caste recorded in the SSLC book, candidates must claim the correct caste in the application and produce the caste certificate from the concerned Revenue Authority and the relevant Gazette notification at the time of verification. 4. Candidates who make false claims regarding education, experience, etc., and fail to appear for verification or fail to produce documents after giving confirmation for the exam will face appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure 1976. 5. Candidates must apply to only one district and record the district name in the specified column. Applying to more than one district will lead to unconditional rejection of applications and disciplinary action. 6. Appointments from the rank list will be made as per the provisions of G.O.(MS) 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Candidates appointed to a district cannot request a transfer to another district for five years. After five years, any transfer will be subject to the provisions of G.O.(MS) 4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. 7. Candidates already in government service in the same post in any district cannot apply for the same post in another district, but can apply for a higher post. 8. Headquarter vacancies will be filled from the district-wise rank list. Appointments for headquarter vacancies will start from Thiruvananthapuram district as per G.O.(MS) 154/71/PD dated 25.05.1971. 9. Applications from candidates not belonging to SC/ST will be rejected without notice. 10. Confirmation for the exam must be given through the One Time Registration profile. Only those who give confirmation will be able to download the admission ticket in the last 15 days before the exam date. 11. Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the online application for future reference.
