PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER (HIGH SCHOOL) - MALAYALAM MEDIUM

District-wise Palakkad - 07 (Seven) Malappuram - 10 (Ten)

18-40. (Candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities will be allowed. (Including the concession in Para 2(i) of General Conditions). Note :- For concessions allowed under upper age limit, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification. (Except para 2(i)) subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years.

1. Pass in SSLC or its equivalent examination. 2. a) Certificate of Physical Education (CPE) conducted by the Commissioner for Examinations, Kerala. Note:- i) Certificates in Physical Education issued by Karnataka and Tamil Nadu States will be accepted as equivalent to CPE. (GO (MS) No 213/2010/G.Edn dated 1.11.2010) ii) Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed) of the Board of Secondary Education, Karnataka is recognized as equivalent to C.P.Ed of Kerala Government vide GO (MS) No. 247/2011/G.Edn dated 07.12.2011. OR b) Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate in Physical Education conducted by the Vocational Higher Secondary Education Board, Kerala or equivalent qualification. OR c) Any Degree in Physical Education viz B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed., etc., awarded or recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala through regular study. [Above (a), (b) & (c) are as per G.O.(MS) No.48/2001/G.Edn. dated 9.2.2001]. OR d) Ex-servicemen who have SSLC or equivalent qualification and possess any one of the following qualifications are eligible to apply for the post. i) Army Physical Training Course (Assistant Instructors Basic Course in Physical Education). OR ii) Army Physical Training Corps Instructors Course. OR iii) Naval Physical Training Corps Instructors Course. OR iv) Air Force Ground Training Instructors Course. 3. Pass in Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by Government of Kerala. Exemption:- Candidates who have acquired C-TET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET qualification (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016).
