Age Limit
22-50; Only candidates born between 02/01/1973 and 01/01/2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions).
Qualifications
1. M.Ch/DNB in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery OR M.Ch/DNB in Cardio Thoracic Surgery OR M.Ch/DNB in Vascular Surgery OR M.Ch/DNB in Thoracic Surgery 2. Permanent Registration with Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC) or Council of Modern Medicine.
Notes
1. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. 2. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of the Government as equivalent to a specified qualification or a higher qualification than the one prescribed, shall be accepted. The Government orders regarding such equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced by the candidates as and when required by the Commission. 3. Candidates appointed to this post shall serve for ten (10) years (including training period) in the Defence Services or in jobs related to Defence in India or abroad, if required. This compulsory military service is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age or those belonging to the differently-abled category.
