21-50; Candidates must be born between 02/01/1972 and 01/01/2001 (both dates included). (Including relaxation as per Para 2(i) of General Conditions). Note: For other age relaxation conditions, refer to Part-2 of the notification, excluding Para 2(i).

1. M.Ch (Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery)/DNB (Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery)/M.Ch (Cardiac Surgery)/M.Ch (Thoracic Surgery). 2. Three years of teaching experience or other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. 3. Permanent registration with the State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council). Notes: 1. The period of study for Post Graduate Degree (MCh/DNB) through the residency program shall be counted as teaching experience for the appointment to the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates who have obtained a Post Graduate Degree without a residency program must produce a certificate from the Principal of the college where they studied, stating that they have obtained teaching/clinical experience during the Post Graduate study period. 2. Those appointed to this post must serve in the Defence Service or in any job related to Defence in India or abroad for a period of four (4) years within their first ten (10) years of service (including training period). This mandatory military service is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and those belonging to the differently-abled category. 3. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of verification.

1. The vacancy is currently existing. The Ranked List prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancy earmarked for the above community, remaining unfilled due to the paucity of candidates in the Ranked List published on 22.10.2021 (Category No: 014/2020, Gazette Date: 03.08.2020), or until the expiry of three years from the date of publication of this NCA Ranked List, whichever is earlier. 2. Candidates claiming caste/community in the application must produce the relevant Gazette notification along with the caste certificate at the time of certificate verification if the caste/community differs from the entry in the SSLC book. 3. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. 4. Candidates claiming experience must upload the experience certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure A or B) along with the application. The certificate must contain details like certificate number, date, post name, duration, issuing authority, and institution name. If the certificate is not available due to the pandemic, a self-declaration can be uploaded, but the original certificate must be produced when required by the Commission. 5. Candidates must submit their applications via the 'One Time Registration' system on the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in. 6. Candidates must confirm their participation for the written/OMR/online test through their profile. Failure to confirm will lead to the rejection of the application. 7. Any false claim regarding qualifications will lead to disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the KPSC Rules of Procedure. 8. Candidates with Aadhaar card must provide it as an identity document in their profile.
