22-48; Candidates must be born between 02-01-1975 and 01-01-2001 (both dates included). Note: For candidates converted from Scheduled Caste to Christianity and their children, the upper age limit is 50 years. They must be born between 02-01-1973 and 01-01-2001 (both dates included). Other age relaxation rules as per Part II of the General Conditions (excluding Clause 2(i)) apply.

1. M.Ch / DNB (Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery) OR M.Ch / DNB (Cardiothoracic Surgery) OR M.Ch / DNB (Vascular Surgery) OR M.Ch / DNB (Thoracic Surgery) 2. Permanent Registration with Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC) or Council of Modern Medicine.

1. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. 2. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared as equivalent by the Government through executive orders or standing orders will be accepted. Candidates must produce such government orders when required by the Commission. 3. Candidates appointed to the post must undergo compulsory military service for a period of four (4) years (including training period) within the first ten (10) years of service, either in the Defence Services or in civilian jobs in India or abroad. This condition is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age or those belonging to the differently-abled category. 4. Candidates must ensure that the caste/community mentioned in the application matches the SSLC book. If there is a difference, a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate along with a Gazette notification regarding the name change must be produced at the time of certificate verification. 5. Candidates must read the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette notification before applying. 6. Any false information regarding education, experience, etc., will lead to disciplinary action by the Kerala Public Service Commission as per Rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure, including debarment from exams, cancellation of candidature, or dismissal from service if already appointed.
