Age Limit
18 – 29 Candidates born between 02.01.1996 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Note: (i) Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste converted to Christian Community, who have converted to Christianity from SC after attaining 18 years and children of such parents are eligible for age relaxation upto 31 years ie, candidates born between 02.01.1994 and 01.01.2007 are eligible to apply for this post (both dates included) ( including the relaxation in para 2(i) of the General conditions) (ii) The upper age limit shall be relaxed upto 41 years for Ex-service men.
Qualifications
(a) Educational Qualification : Pass in HSE (Plus Two) or its equivalent (b) Physical Qualifications: (i) Height : A minimum of 168 cm. (ii) Chest : A minimum of 81 cm and with a minimum expansion of 5 cm. (iii) Eye Sight: Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses. Vision Right Eye Left Eye (a) Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen 6/6 Snellen (b) Near Vision 0.5 Snellen 0.5 Snellen (c) Must qualify in any five events out of eight events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency, One Star Standard Test. 1. 100 Meters Run - 14 Seconds 2. High Jump - 132.20 cm 3. Long Jump - 457.20 cm 4. Putting the Shot (7264 gm) - 609.60 cm 5. Throwing the cricket ball - 6096 cm 6. Rope climbing (using hands only) - 365.80 cm 7. Pull up or chinning - 8 times 8. 1500 meters run - 5 minutes & 44 seconds
Notes
(i) Women candidates and differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply in response to this notification. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. (iii) The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Mother Ranked List published as per category No 537/22 ( R/L No. 465/2024/DOB w.e.f 15/04/2024, RL No.462/2024/DOE w.e.f .15.04.2024) (iv) The name,age limit and qualification of this post has been prescribed as per G.O(MS)No.16/80/Home dated 17/01/1980 (SRO No.82/80) and G.O(P) No.138/2017/Home Dated.08.12.2017 (SRO No.787/2017) (v) Candidates having 'A', 'B' & 'C' certificate of NCC will be given weightage marks at the rate of 2%, 3% and 5% respectively, vide G.O(Ms) No.112/2007/HEdn.Dated 21.08.2007. (vi) Extra Marks will be awarded to meritorious sports persons as per Para 6 of the General Conditions. (vii) Student Police Cadet (SPC) Certificate holders will be given weightage marks as per G.O.(MS) No.06/2025/P&RD dated 01.03.2025.
