OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Urdu awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Pass in Adib-I-Fazil (Preliminary) Examination in Urdu conducted by anyone of the Universities in Kerala. OR A Pass in Urdu Higher Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR BA Urdu and Islamic History double Main Course by Kannur University. (G.O (MS) No.158/18/G.Edn. Dated 12.11.2018) Note: Disciplines in which BA/Title of oriental learning obtained should be mentioned 3 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption:- Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P)No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.2016 and G.O.(P)No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). Note: - M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala.

(i) Conventional type applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in. (ii) A Ranked List will be prepared for Kannur district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked list thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against aforesaid vacancies and also against the vacancies, if any, reported during the currency of the lists. In case no candidate is advised from the ranked list till the expiry of the period of three years, the duration of the ranked list shall be extended for a further period of one year or till at least one candidate is advised from the list whichever is earlier. (iii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he or she completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961. But as per the GO(P) No 12/96/P&ARD dated 16.3.1996 the condition of 5 years service is not applicable for transfer to Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod districts. The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And this concession will be granted only once in the career of a Govt Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (iv) Candidates should submit their application for this post to the Kannur district, where the vacancy is existing and should note the name of that District against the relevant column of the online application. (v) In case of change in Caste/Community noted in the SSLC Book, candidates must claim their original Caste/Community in the application and shall produce Community Certificate/Non Creamy Layer Certificate as the case may be issued by the Revenue Authorities and the Gazette Notification publishing the change of Caste/Community at the time of OTR Verification for selection to the above post or as when required by the Commission. (vi) 3 % of the fresh vacancies reported to the Commission for the above post shall be reserved for appointment of differently abled persons as per G.O(P)No.5/2019/SJD dated 07.05.2019. NB: (i) Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. (ii) Applications of candidates who have claimed qualification equivalent to those prescribed in the Gazette Notification for the post will be considered equivalent only if they produce Government Orders to prove equivalency at the time of verification.
