18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. (Including the relaxation in para 2(i) of Part II, General Conditions) Note:- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, please see para 2 of the general conditions under part II of this Notification, except para 2(i).

A pass in VHSE in Live Stock Management. Note : Rule 10 (a) ii of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Note:- Physically disabled candidates are not eligible for appointment to the post.

(i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those mentioned above will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. (ii) The Rank list prepared and published by the Commission for Alappuzha district in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above mentioned communities but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the above post in the date undermentioned below. Name of District: Alappuzha | Date of publication of Ranked List: 28.01.2011 | Category No.: 135/2008 (iii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another District unless he/she completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former District. Even if transfer is allowed after 5 years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(P)No.36/91/P&ARD dated 02.12.1991. But as per G.O(P)12/96/P&ARD dated 16.03.1996, the condition of 5 years service is not applicable for the transfer to the Districts of Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. This concession will be available only for getting transfer into these districts, but not for getting transfer out of these districts and this concession will be granted only once in the career of a Government Servant. Candidates already in Government Service holding the post in any one district are prohibited from applying in response to this notification. (iv) Candidates recruited by the Commission shall be appointed to the service provisionally and they shall undergo the Stockman training course/Livestock Inspector training course. After the successful completion of training, their provisional appointment will be regularized from the date of first appointment treating their training period as regular service. Those who do not complete the course successfully in the first attempt shall be allowed three more chances to complete the course successfully. In the case of candidates who fail to complete the course successfully even in the fourth attempt, their provisional appointment shall be terminated and they shall be discharged from service. There shall be no re-ranking of candidates based on the marks secured by them during the training. (v) Candidates selected will have to execute a bond in the prescribed form to serve the Government of Kerala for a minimum period of 5 years after the regular appointment. Those who leave the service in between or during training are liable to pay for the damage if any fixed by the Government. (vi) Each trainee will have to produce a certificate (in original) of Physical Fitness from a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon as and when called for by the Commission.
