Direct Recruitment from candidates belonging to Ezhava/Billava/Thiyya Community only.

18-39; Only candidates belonging to Ezhava/Billava/Thiyya community born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (including relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). In no case the maximum upper age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years.

Diploma (3 Years course) in Cinema from a recognized Institution and One year professional experience in the Film Industry in handling production responsibilities. OR Graduation and 3 years experience in the Film Industry in handling production responsibilities.

Note:- (i) The above vacancy is existing at present. The Ranked List published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked to the Ezhava/Billava/Thiyya Community but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published on 19.09.2022 for the post as per Category No.200/2020. This is the Second NCA notification due to the non availability of qualified candidates for the post as per the Gazette Notification dated 15.09.2023 vide Category Number 277/2023. (ii) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. (iii) Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. (iv) “In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquistion of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the commission”. (v) The probation period is applicable as per the provisions of the Special Rules of the Kerala State Film Development Corporation Ltd.
