21-49. Candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions).

1) Medical Postgraduate Degree (MD/MS) or DNB in the concerned subject from a recognized University. 2) Three years of teaching experience or other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. 3) Permanent Registration with State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council).

1. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. 2. The period of study of candidates who have obtained Post Graduate Degree through Residency Programme shall be considered as teaching experience for the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates who obtained Post Graduate Degree without Residency Programme must produce a certificate from the Principal of the college where they studied, stating that they have obtained teaching/clinical experience during the Post Graduate study period. 3. Temporary registration with any Medical Council will not be considered. 4. Candidates must ensure that all qualification documents, including permanent registration with the Travancore-Cochin Medical Council, are updated in their profile before submitting the application. 5. Candidates appointed to this post shall serve in the Defence Service or in Defence related jobs anywhere in India or abroad for a period of four (4) years within the first ten (10) years of service (including training period). This compulsory military service is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and to differently-abled candidates. 6. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. 7. Candidates must claim the correct caste/community in the application. If it differs from the SSLC book, they must produce a Non-Creamy Layer/Caste Certificate along with a Gazette Notification regarding the name change at the time of certificate verification. 8. Candidates claiming experience must obtain and upload the experience certificate in the prescribed format. The certificate must include details like certificate number, date, post name, period, issuing authority, and institution name. If the certificate is not available due to pandemic restrictions, a self-declaration must be uploaded, but the original certificate must be produced when required by the Commission. 9. Candidates must provide confirmation for the exam through their One Time Registration profile if a written/OMR/online test is conducted. 10. Candidates must provide their Aadhaar card as identification in their profile.
