18-45. Candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation will be given to SC/ST and other backward communities.

1. Pass in Standard VII (New) or equivalent examination. 2. Must have not less than 3 (three) years of experience in the Army/Navy/Air Force. 3. Must know how to ride a bicycle. 4. Height: 168 cm. 5. Chest: Normal - 81 cm, Expansion - 5 cm.

Note: (1) Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. (2) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce Government order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. (3) Candidates claiming caste/community in the application which differs from SSLC book should produce Non-Creamy Layer/Caste Certificate along with Gazette notification regarding the change of name/caste at the time of verification. (4) Candidates who have submitted false claims regarding education, experience, etc., and who have given confirmation for the exam but failed to appear will be subject to disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure (1976). - Women are not eligible to apply for this post. - Candidates who have worked provisionally in the respective institution are eligible for age relaxation up to the duration of their provisional service, subject to a maximum of 5 years. This is not applicable to those who are currently working as regular employees in the same institution.
