Junior Health Inspector Grade - II

District-wise As per G.O.(P) No. 157/2018/P&ARD dated 20.07.2018

Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only and Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes) Note:- Applications submitted by candidates other than Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe communities will be rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be issued to them.

18-41, Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included). Note:- In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. But in no case the age shall exceed 50 years.

(1) General :- Pass in Plus Two with Science subjects from a recognized Institution or its equivalent. (2) Technical :- Diploma in Health Inspector Course from Directorate of Health Services or from any other Institution recognized by Government of Kerala. (3) Registration :- Registration in Kerala Paramedical Council. All qualifications must be acquired before the last date fixed for receipt of application.

i) These vacancies are now in existence. Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked list thus prepared and published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years subject to the condition that if a new list is published after the expiry of the minimum period of one year, the said list will cease to be in force. Vacancies reported in excess of the vacancies earmarked for Scheduled Tribes/Scheduled Castes will be advised from the Ranked List prepared under this notification. Such priority will be given during the currency of the Ranked List exclusively for Special Recruitment of SC/ST. The rules regarding the reservation of appointment as contained in G.O.(P) No. 21/76/PD dated 17.01.1976, G.O.(P) No. 25/94/GAD dated 22.01.1994 and Rules 3(c), 17(a) and 17(b) of Part II of KS&SSR, 1958 are not applicable to this selection. ii) Candidates shall submit application to any one district in response to this notification and note that selection to District wise/State wise will be final. If a candidate is found to submit applications to more than one district, his/her applications will be summarily rejected and disciplinary action will be initiated against him/her. iii) Selection under this notification will be made on district wise basis subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate appointed from the Ranked List on District wise basis shall not be transferred to any other district within five years from the date of commencement of regular service in the department. But after five years such transfer can be made as per G.O. (P) No. 36/91/P&ARD dated 02.12.1991 subject to the conditions laid down in the said order. But transfer to Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod districts will be permissible as per G.O. (P) No. 12/96/P&ARD dated 16.03.1996 without observing the above condition. The concession for inter district transfer will be available only once in the entire service. Persons now working in Government service in this post in any one district are not eligible to apply for this notification. However, they can apply for higher posts.
