18 – 36. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. Note: Candidates who have worked temporarily in the said institution are eligible for age relaxation to the extent of their service, but the upper age limit shall not exceed 50 years. Those who are working as regular employees in the institution are not eligible for this concession. Candidates with provisional service should obtain a service certificate showing the duration of service and produce it when required by the Commission. It should be specifically mentioned in the certificate that they have not worked in regular service.

Diploma in Civil Engineering recognized by the Government of Kerala or equivalent qualification.

1) K.S. & S.S.R Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. 2) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce Government order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. 3) In case of any difference in caste related entries in SSLC book, candidates should claim the correct caste in the application and produce the caste certificate/non-creamy layer certificate issued by the concerned revenue authority and the relevant gazette notification at the time of verification. 4) The rank list prepared will have a minimum validity of one year and a maximum of three years. If a new rank list is published after one year, the current list will cease to be valid. Further vacancies reported during the validity of the list will be filled from this list. 5) The Commission reserves the right to cancel any appointment recommendation if it is found to be incorrect. The appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate immediately upon cancellation. However, such cancellation and termination shall be within the probation period or within 240 days of joining, whichever is earlier. 6) Candidates must submit their application through their profile on the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in. Uploaded photo must be taken after 31/12/2011. Name and date of photo must be clearly marked below the photo. The photo is valid for 10 years from the date of upload. 7) No application fee. 8) Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the online application for future use. The print out must be produced during correspondence with the Commission. 9) If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who submit confirmation will be able to download the admission ticket in the last 15 days before the exam date. 10) Disciplinary action will be taken against candidates who make false claims regarding qualification/experience in the application or who confirm for the exam but do not attend.
