Age Limit
18-40. Candidates born between 02/01/1983 and 01/01/2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation as per rules.
Qualifications
(1) Pass in Standard VII or equivalent qualification. (2) Must possess valid Driving License for Light Duty Vehicles and Heavy Duty Vehicles with Driver's Badge. (The Driving License must be valid at all stages of selection, i.e., last date of receipt of application, practical test date, interview date, and appointment date). If the license is issued after 16.01.1979, it must have specific endorsement for driving Heavy Goods/Passenger vehicles. (3) Medical Fitness: (i) Hearing: Must have perfect hearing. (ii) Eye: (Both eyes) Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen Colour Vision: Normal Night Blindness: Should not have (iii) Muscles and Joints: No paralysis. All joints must be capable of free movement. (iv) Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases.
Notes
1. The vacancies are for the General Category. Vacancies arising in KERAFED will be filled in the ratio 1:1 from General Category (Part I) and Society Category (Part II). The first vacancy is for the General Category. 2. The Ranked List prepared will be valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. 3. Probation: Three years of service within a continuous period of three years. 4. Candidates must produce a medical certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon and a certificate from an Ophthalmologist regarding vision in the prescribed format when required by the Commission. 5. Practical test including 'T' Test will be conducted. Only those who pass the 'T' test will be allowed to participate in the road test. 6. Applications submitted in violation of the notification conditions will be rejected. 7. Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31/12/2013 with name and date of photo taken clearly marked.
