Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment.
Age Limit
18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. (For conditions regarding the age relaxation please see Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions). In addition to the age relaxation normally allowed to the employees of Technical Education Department, upper age limit shall be relaxed to the extent of their service put in, subject to a maximum of 10 years. But the upper age limit shall not exceed 50 (Fifty) years as on 01.01.2021 under any circumstances.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the concerned branch from a University or Government recognized Institution after a regular course of study of not less than 3 years.
Notes
(1) The ranked list published in response to this notification shall cease to be in force after a minimum period of one year or after the expiry of three years whichever is earlier, from the date of finalization of the ranked list. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list. (2) 3% of the vacancies are reserved for Differently Abled candidates (Locomotor disability/Cerebral palsy, Hearing impairment, Low vision) vide G.O.(P) No. 01/2013/SJD dated 03.01.2013. (3) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. (4) The equivalency qualification claimed for the post should be proved by producing government orders at the time of certificate verification. (5) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order proving equivalency at the time of certificate verification, if required. (6) If the caste/community claimed in the application differs from the entry in the SSLC book, Gazette notification proving such change should be produced at the time of certificate verification.
