19-41, only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1994 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (This includes the relaxation as per para 2(i) of General Conditions) Note: - For concessions allowed in Upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under part II of this notification except para2(i).

(1) Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering awarded by the Kerala Agricultural University. In the absence of persons with the qualifications prescribed under item 1 mentioned above the persons with the following qualifications will be considered. i) National Trade Certificate in any of the following trades from the I.T.I. (a) Mechanic (Tractor) (b) Mechanic (Motor vehicle) (c ) Mechanic (Diesel) (d) Fitter ii) Practical experience of not less than one year in the trade. The Practical experience should be one acquired after the acquisition of I.T.I. Trade certificate. Proficiency in the field of work will be assessed in a practical test conducted by the Public Service Commission. (2) The candidates should possess a valid Tractor Driving licence.

(i) Conventional type applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall apply only through online application facility available at the Kerala Public Service Commission website viz. www.keralapsc.gov.in. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be issued to these candidates. (iii) A Ranked List will be prepared for Kasaragode district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post on 18/03/2005 in Kasaragode district. This is the Second NCA Notification for the post owing to non-availability of qualified candidates belonging to the above community as per the first NCA notification and Nil Ranked list published on 29.09.2012. (Gazette date 13.04.2009, Category No.96/09) (iv) The candidates belonging to the above reservation Community shall submit application for the post to the district concerned where the vacancy is in existence for their respective community and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction and if he/she is selected his/her name will be removed from the ranked list and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. (v) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (Ms) No 154/71/PD dated, 27-05-1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O. (MS) No. 4/61/PD. dated, 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. Note:- In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Community applications from Scheduled Tribe Candidates will also be considered. Note:-(i) Candidates should possess current Driving licence on the date of application, practical test, and interview.(Candidates should possess current driving licence on all stages of selection) (ii) Candidates should produce a Medical Certificate (original) in the following format obtained from a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon when the Commission intimates.
