Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Dheevara Communities only )

(1) Scheduled Caste :19 – 42. Candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.1994 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. (This includes the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Condition). (2) Dheevara:-19 – 40. Candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.1994 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. (This includes the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions) Note:- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of General Conditions under Part II of this notification (except para 2 (i))

1. Pass in Standard VII 2. JTSLC or ITI or KGTE or KGCE or City and Guilds Examination in the concerned trade. Note:- (i) The Certificates awarded by City and Guilds of London Institute after 31.03.1985 will not be accepted. (ii) Candidates should specify the name of the trade/branch also along with the qualification in the application.

(i) In the absence of Scheduled Caste candidates Scheduled Tribe candidates will also be considered in Kasaragod district. (ii) Conventional type application for the above post will be summarily rejected. Candidates can apply through online application facility available at the Kerala Public Service Commission website viz. www.keralapsc.gov.in (iii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be issued to these candidates. Candidates shall note the name of trade concerned along with the name of post in the application. (iv) Separate Ranked List will be prepared for each Districts in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district as detailed below. (v) The candidates belonging to above reservation community shall submit application for this post to the district concerned where the vacancy is in existence for their respective community and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction and if he/she is selected his/her name will be removed from the ranked list and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. (vi) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G O (MS) No. 4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post. But they can apply to higher posts when notified.
